In collaboration with from REIVENT, We built the capacity of REINVENT partners working with Police
Stations in Mombasa, Kilifi, Uasin Gishu; Kisumu; Murang’a, Embu, Isiolo, and Wajir counties. This
activity brought together REINVENT partners and Gender Desk Police Officers to strengthen their
capacity and knowledge on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on prevention and
management of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV); guidelines on the operation of Gender
Units at police stations and monitoring tools to aid actors working on SGBV in the collection of data
at the gender desks.
